These are our jobs. Not stock photos, not somebody else's houses. Every picture on this page is a real photo from a Superior job around Tallahassee, and we are keeping it that way.
A couple of things about the photos. Some of them are old. They came off our last website, and we are still matching each one to a street, a year, and what we did there. Where we are not sure, the caption says so instead of guessing. We will add newer photos as we get them.
We do not pick one flattering angle and hide the rest. Want to talk to the people who live in one of these houses? Ask. We will give you two or three phone numbers of customers who had a project like yours, and not the same three every time.
Use the filters to sort by what you need painted. Every card links to the page that explains how we do that kind of work.

Exterior
Tallahassee sun, pollen, and afternoon rain are hard on the outside of a house. Most of what you see here is siding, trim, doors, and porches. We wash first, we do not paint wet wood, and we will not paint over rotten boards. More on how an exterior job goes on the exterior painting in Tallahassee page.

Navy two-story, white trim
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingNavy lap siding, bright white trim, white garage door. Two colors, clean lines where they meet. This is the kind of two-tone job that only looks simple if the cut lines are straight.

Cream two-story with brick base
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingCream siding over a brick foundation, gray roof, white trim on the gables. A lot of Tallahassee looks like this house. Ladders and tall gables are normal work for our exterior crews.

Stucco house, tile roof, paver drive
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingWarm tan stucco under a barrel-tile roof, arched entry, paver driveway. Stucco takes paint differently than wood siding, and the trim around the arches is where the detail work is.

Three stories of porches
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingWhite columns, white railings, three floors of them. Every baluster gets touched by hand. Porches like this are slow work, and they are the first thing anyone sees from the street.

Two-story with columns
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingPale yellow body, white columns and trim, fresh landscaping still going in around it. Two-story with a wide front porch and a lot of white to keep clean.

Siding over brick
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingGray lap siding above brick, white gutter and fascia, wood fence along the side yard. Nobody photographs this side of a house. We paint it the same as the front.

Screened porch, sage green
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingSage-green knee walls and screen frames, tile floor, ceiling fan, and a wooded backyard through the screens. Porches live half outside, so they get treated like exterior work, prep and all.

Burgundy front door
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingDeep burgundy door, oval glass, sidelights and transom, brick on both sides. A front door is a small job that people notice every single day. Glass gets masked, not painted.

Dark double front door
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingDouble doors in a dark finish, tall glass panels, stone around the opening, wreath on the door. Doors take a smoother finish than siding does, and this one shows it.

Stained privacy fence
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingWood privacy fence in a red-brown stain, backyard corner, even color board to board. Ask about a fence or deck on the estimate and we will tell you straight whether it is a fit.

Painted gable, four colors
Exterior · exterior painting ·
exterior paintingScalloped shingles in purple, orange lap siding, teal and yellow trim, a butterfly ornament on the wall. Multi-color trim work is all cut lines, and there is nowhere to hide a crooked one.
Washing before we paint
Exterior · pressure washing · Tallahassee
pressure washingPaint does not stick to pollen and mildew. Exteriors get washed before the first coat, and washing is a job on its own when a house just needs to be clean.
Interior
Inside, the work is walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and stairs, and the prep is most of the job. Canvas drop cloths on the floor, plastic over the beds and furniture, heavy pieces moved on sliders, and two or three of us in the house at a time. How we handle your home is on the interior painting in Tallahassee page.

Stairwell, mid-job
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingThis is what a job looks like on day two. Plastic on the stair rail, drop cloths on the floor, buckets by the wall, first coat of yellow going up through the arch. We put this one here on purpose. Prep is the job.

Spraying a ceiling
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingOne of our painters in coveralls and a respirator, spraying a ceiling from a ladder. Every wall is masked in plastic to the floor. That much masking takes longer than the spraying does, and it is why the walls come out clean.

Vaulted plank ceiling
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingWood plank ceiling in a dark stain, vaulted, two chandeliers, gray walls and white built-ins below. Two photos of the same room. Working over furniture and light fixtures at that height takes time.

White-painted stone fireplace
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingFloor-to-ceiling stone fireplace painted white, wood mantel left natural, soft gray walls, sliding doors on both sides. Painting stone is a different animal than drywall. It drinks paint.

Loft with exposed duct
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingGreen walls, tall ceiling, exposed ductwork and a ceiling fan overhead, red sofa, kitchen through the back. Cutting a clean line where the wall meets an unpainted duct is the hard part in a room like this.

Painted staircase
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingBlack treads and risers, natural wood in the middle of each step, iron balusters, dark handrail. People still need to get upstairs, so a job like this is as much scheduling as painting.

Small room, soft gray
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingSoft gray walls, white trim, a lamp on the side table and a coffee mug on the corner. A phone photo of a normal room, taken right after we finished. Most of our interior work looks like this.

Red dining room, stained trim
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingDeep red walls against stained craftsman trim and a stained-glass window, wood floors, wood table. Dark reds take extra coats and a steady hand along all that woodwork.

Open floor plan, arched openings
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingPale yellow walls, white columns and arches, crown molding, wood floors, iron stair rail. Big open rooms show every roller mark in afternoon light, so the walls have to be dead even.

Orange kitchen, tray ceiling
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingTerracotta-orange walls, white tray ceiling and crown, cream cabinets, wood floors, glass door to the porch. Bold color next to white trim means every cut line shows.

Deep green living room
Interior · interior painting ·
interior paintingDeep green walls, white mantel and crown, framed bird prints, brass sconces. Dark colors like this need full coverage or they look patchy in daylight.

Brick block with arched windows
Commercial · commercial painting ·
commercial paintingTwo-story brick block, a row of arched second-floor windows, dark green trim and awnings, storefronts at street level. Old brick buildings have a lot of trim per square foot, and all of it is up high over a public sidewalk.

Blue storefront, red awnings
Commercial · commercial painting ·
commercial paintingLight-blue brick, white window trim, red awnings over the doors, corner lot with a crosswalk.

Corner building with the Coca-Cola mural
Commercial · commercial painting ·
commercial paintingCream block building on a corner, dark red trim, an old Coca-Cola mural on the side wall, traffic lights out front. You paint the building and leave the mural alone.

Spa sign and entry
Commercial · commercial painting ·
commercial paintingRust-finish steel sign on a white base for a spa, pine straw and young palms around it. Small job, but it is the first thing a customer sees.

Minor wood rot and carpentry, fixed before the paint goes on. Fascia boards, window sills, trim, a run of siding. Rot gets fixed first or it does not get painted. See wood rot and carpentry repair.
Rotten fascia, replaced then painted
Repairs · wood rot and carpentry repair · Tallahassee
wood rot and carpentry repairBad board out, new board in, primed, painted. Then the paint has something solid to hold on to.
